Common Questions
How do you find loads?
I search available freight using load boards and evaluate opportunities based on your equipment, preferred lanes, deadhead limits, rate goals, destination market, and other operating preferences.
What are typical dispatch rates?
Dispatch services are percentage-based, with standard dispatch services at 10% of the carrier’s gross load revenue. Promotional or introductory rates may be offered separately. Final pricing and service terms are reviewed before onboarding and included in the dispatcher-carrier agreement.
How long does onboarding take?
Onboarding depends on how quickly the required carrier documents and information are submitted and verified. Dispatch services do not begin until onboarding is complete and all required documents are reviewed and signed.
Do you handle paperwork?
Yes. Dispatch support includes assistance with broker setup packets, rate confirmations, BOL/POD follow-up, load documents, and tracking applicable accessorials such as detention, layover, TONU, tarp fees, stop-offs, and driver assist when applicable.
